Z4000 USSSA BALANCED

The 2016 Louisville Z4000 slow pitch bats come in six different flavors to cater to each individual’s tastes.  Starting with the balanced model Z4000 USSSA Balanced, which is a 100% composite bat made from the Pure 360 carbon fiber, that also incorporates the TRU3 – 3-piece Technology. Mixing these high end composites with the TRU3 will help direct any potentially lost energy of the swing back into the softball. This model has a balanced swing weight to make it more of a line drive/contact hitters softball bat. It has a tapered handle with a 12″ barrel length and a 2 1/4″ barrel diameter. This balanced model is approved for USSSA, NSA and ISA. The Z4000 Balanced USSSA is not allowed in ASA or ISF.

The next softball bat in the group is the 2016 Z4000 ASA/USSSA Balanced . This bat is very similar to the previous slow-pitch bat save a few little differences. They both have the same composite & offer the TRU3 connecting piece that eliminates vibration and improves overall stiffness and feel. Where they differ, however, is that the ASA/USSSA Balanced is approved for all major softball associations. Louisville slugger was able to do this by using their Swing 1 inner Disc Technology, or ‘S1iD’. The S1iD is composed of two inner discs inserted into the sweet spot of the barrel to allow for maximum pop right out of the wrapper without having to wait for it to break in at all. This softball bat is approved for USSSA, ASA, NSA,ISA and ISF associations.

Now we have the Louisville Slugger Z4000 End Loaded USSSA . This is the exact same slow pitch bat as the first model mentioned but with an End Loaded weighting. This bat will be ideal for players who love to crush the ball over the fence & have the power+strength to use it. You get all the other great bells and whistles, just a little more inertia behind the ball. This Z4000 SBZ416U-E is approved for USSSA, NSA, and ISA. It is not approved for ASA or ISF.

Next is the Louisville Slugger Z4000 ASA/USSSA End Loaded bat. This is exactly like the second softball bat talked about but it features an end load as well. Again great for the players who have enough strength to utilize the end loaded softball bat to help put some extra distance on the ball. This bat is approved for all major softball associations: USSSA, ASA, NSA, ISA and ISF.

Finally we get to the heaviest end loaded bat Louisville makes in the Z4000 line up. With an extra half ounce end load, this Shoppe Backman model made for Louisville Sluggers own pro-sponsored team is ready to put some heavy damage on the ball. The Z4000 SBZ416U-PL is the hottest & heaviest Z4000 softball bat Louisville Slugger makes. Made with the same great features and aero space carbon fiber as the other Z4000’s, this USSSA slow pitch bat is a beast! Also approved for NSA and ISA softball associations.

HYPER-Z SSUSA SENIOR END LOADED
HYPER-Z SSUSA SENIOR END LOADED

The last Louisville softball bat to talk about here is the SSUSA Senior Z4000. This bat is also made with the Pure 360 composite material and the TRU3 connection technology. It has an end load like some of the other Z4000’s, but this SSUSA model is not restricted in the way other associations are. The gates have been opened wide in terms of performance for the manufacturers, so you will be getting a slow-pitch bat that tries to walk as close to the edge of maximum power without sacrificing the durability of the product. This Softball Bat is approved for SSUSA play only.
