The 2015 Rip It Air BBCOR Baseball Bat is constructed with a 1-piece design, made with 100% R3 Alloy material. The barrel is made with Rip It’s famous Rifle Barrel Technology, where excess weight is removed inside of the barrel to reduce the unnecessary thickness of the walls. This method gives the bat a lighter, balanced feel without sacrificing any strength or durability. Speaking of this bat being balanced, that’s also due to the Very Low MOI, where Rip It efficiently and precisely distributes the weight throughout the bat to keep the weighting even. Lastly, the Rip It Air has comfortable Contact Grip on the handle, limiting sting and keeping your hands highly reactive!

Now let’s talk about the top notch option, the 2015 Rip It Air Elite BBCOR Baseball Bat. This bat is made as a 2-piece Hybrid, where Rip it connects a composite handle to an aluminum alloy barrel. The R3 Composite Handle gives the bat a very sturdy feel, while limiting vibration to the hands and redirecting that contact energy back to the R3 Rifle Alloy Barrel’s sweet spot for insane trampoline effect! The Rip It Air Elite also has the Rifle Barrel Technology, just like the Rip It Air listed above, which is the process of reducing unnecessarily thick walls to lighten the bat’s weighting for more of a balanced feel. Another thing that makes this Air Elite so balanced is the Ultra Low MOI, an upgrade over the Air’s Very Low MOI, that makes this stick extremely balanced with an even swing weight going through the hitting zone. Capping everything off is the Contact Grip, keeping your hands comfortable and eliminating that unwanted sting and vibration.

Which one is the bat for you? Well, that just comes down to a personal preference on cost. They are both great bats, but if you are willing to pay the extra $100 to get the Air Elite then you get more of an upgraded edition of its counterpart, the Air. Nonetheless, if you buy Rip It, you’re sure to enjoy mad pop and great performance!

Both of these beasts are BBCOR certified (legal for High School and NCAA) and are supplied with both a 400 day manufacturer’s warranty and a 30 day “Love It or Return It” policy.
